The transmitter and the headphones in Medley 6018 set are pre-paired and LOCKED with each other. The factory reset function will clear the pairing history with other devices, but the original set still remains paired and locked.
Factory Reset the Transmitter
Turn on the transmitter. Push and hold the "ON/OFF/PAIR" button to "PAIR" for 5 seconds. Please do NOT release until the Red and Blue LEDs are BOTH on for 2 seconds (looks PINK)- an indication of successful reset.
Once this done, the transmitter will re-enter pairing mode, LED indicator flashing RED & BLUE Alternately.
Turn the transmitter OFF.
Factory Reset the NB18T Headphones
After turning on, press and hold both “+” and “-” for 7 seconds until the red and blue LEDs are BOTH on for 2 seconds (looks PINK) and you can hear"DU DU"- now all the paired history of the headphones is cleared. It then enters pairing mode automatically with the LED flashing alternately red and blue.
Turn the headphone OFF.
Then turn both the transmitter and the headphone on. Wait for a few seconds They should automatically reconnected.
Related knowledge:
1. Bluetooth device normally auto-reconnects to its LAST paired / connected device. You might need to make sure the previous used device are Bluetooth-off to avoid interference.
2. It is important to Reset both Bluetooth sender and receiver. In case of cellphone / PC, you can turn off its Bluetooth function and turn it back on.
