If you encounter connection issues between your AirPods and Avantree transmitter, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
1. Disable Dual Link: Keep in mind that AirPods (Pro) do not support dual link. Ensure that your Avantree transmitter is not attempting to establish a dual link connection with the AirPods.
2. Disable Bluetooth on Apple devices: AirPods prioritize connections with Apple products. Before pairing with Avantree transmitters, make sure to disable Bluetooth on any previously paired Apple devices. This includes your iPhone, iPad, Mac, and any other Apple devices in your vicinity.
- Go to the settings menu of each Apple device.
- Locate the Bluetooth settings.
- Turn off the Bluetooth function on each device
It is crucial to perform this step before attempting to pair your AirPods with Avantree transmitters.
3. Reset Avantree Relay and AirPods: If the connection issue persists, try resetting both the Avantree Relay and your AirPods. Here's how:
- Reset Avantree Relay:
- Press and hold the + and - buttons at the same time for 6 seconds until the LEDs turn RED & BLUE simultaneously for 3 seconds (it may look PINK).
- It should then go into pairing mode and the LED will alternate between flashing RED & BLUE.
- Reset AirPods:
- Place your AirPods inside the charging case.
- Close the case lid and wait for a few seconds.
- Open the lid and locate the small button on the back of the case.
- Press and hold the button until the LED light on the front starts flashing amber.
- Release the button and wait for the AirPods to reconnect to your devices.
By following these steps, you can troubleshoot and resolve any connection issues between your AriPods and Avantree transmitter.
