Please try the following troubleshooting steps when you encounter pairing issues:
1. Bluetooth devices normally will auto-reconnect to their last paired device; please turn Bluetooth off on any previously paired devices to avoid interference.
2. "Forget" the PowerByte in your device's Bluetooth history.
Restart the Bluetooth device first, then clear the pairing history and turn off Bluetooth
3. Reset the PowerByte.
Press and hold both the "MODE" button and the "0" button on the number pad for 5 seconds; the screen letters will all light up for 5 seconds, then turn off, indicating that the PowerByte has been reset.
4. Pair the PowerByte to your device.
Next, make sure the PowerByte is in Bluetooth speaker mode. Turn on your device’s Bluetooth, search for "Avantree PowerByte" and pair.
5. Test your PowerByte with a different Bluetooth device.
Try connecting the speaker to another device to see if the issue persists.
