If you’ve connected your Bluetooth headset to your computer for conversation/meeting use, but constantly encounter issues like the microphone stops working randomly or regularly, and you will need to pair it with your computer or power it off and on again to make them work:
The issue may be caused by your computer’s built-in Bluetooth driver and may be unsolvable no matter what brand of Bluetooth headset you use.
However, we do have a temporary solution: Bypass the Bluetooth driver by using a USB Bluetooth Audio Adapter Dongle.
With it, you’ll be able to use the headsets without having to touch the built-in Bluetooth.
These adapter dongles range from $30-$50, depending on the features. They can be found on our website Avantree.com or on Amazon.
In the meantime, you may also want to try updating your Bluetooth driver and see if that solves some of the issues.
