How to Factory Reset / Clear Pairing History of the Avantree Soundbyte T?

Factory Resetting the Soundbyte T will clear all the FM channels saved as well as its Bluetooth pairing history.

Please follow the steps below to factory reset the Soundbyte T.

Step 1: Make sure that the Soundbyte T is powered ON.

Turn the power dial to turn on the device. It needs to be ON in order to conduct a factory reset.

Step 2: Press the settings gear button to enter the main settings menu.

Step 3: Scroll using the “SEEK” buttons and find “Factory Reset”.

Step 4: Confirm by clicking the OK mark button.

After resetting, the radio will begin auto searching for FM channels.

Related knowledge:
1. Bluetooth device normally auto-reconnects to its LAST paired / connected device. You might need to make sure the previous used device are Bluetooth-off to avoid interference.
2. It is important to Reset both Bluetooth sender and receiver. In case of cellphone / PC, you can turn off its Bluetooth function and turn it back on.
