The Relay is a Bluetooth transmitter only. It can pair with Bluetooth headphones/speakers. It can't pair with smart phones/laptops via Bluetooth.
When using with AirPods, please turn off Bluetooth on your Apple devices first. If there's still a connectivity issue, try resetting the Relay or the AirPods.
Manually place your headphones into pairing mode for any connectivity issues. Ensure other devices are not already connected to the headphones.

For headphones that don't support aptX adaptive or low latency, you will experience up to 200ms of delay.
