DG40S - Guide - Use with a Bluetooth 4.0 device (Win 7/8/XP)

* For Win 10, it is Plug & Play - there's no need to install BlueSoleil. It will simply pair to your keyboard or mouse as per the instructions without requiring any special settings.

* For Win 7/8/XP, Please install BlueSoleil first.

If your Bluetooth keyboard or mouse is Bluetooth 4.0 version or above,  you can try to connect and manage your device from the “Bluetooth 4.0 functions” window in BlueSoleil.

Step 1. Right-click on Bluetooth device icon on the Taskbar and click “Bluetooth 4.0 function” view on BlueSoleil. See image below: 

Step 2. Put your Bluetooth device into PAIRING MODE and click the “Add a Device” icon to search for a new device.

Select the device icon and click the “Finish” button.

The device has been added.

Step 3. Put your device into PAIRING MODE AGAIN, click "Others" on the left menu then select "HID" and click the device icon. Then click the “Connect” button.

Enter the Bluetooth passkey from your keyboard and then press ‘Enter’ .

Once connected, you will see the button change to “Disconnect”. Now your Bluetooth device is ready for use.
