HT3189 - Step by Step User Guide.

HT3189 is a Pre-locked Bluetooth Transmitter + Headphones Set. NO need to pair them again. Step by step set up guide as below >

Step 1. Check your device audio output options

Step 2: Check the Audio Out Signal

To make sure your Audio out signal is valid for the transmitter, we suggest you to use the headphone with wire to check the output first.

2.1 AUX Audio Out

Plug the 3.5mm audio cable to your TV | audio source.

Plug your headphones to the other end.

Can you hear sound?

If yes, then unplug the headphone from the cable. Your Audio output is ready.

If no, then use your TV remote control to check your TV audio settings. Settings | Menu | Option > Audio > Speaker > Headset (Various, depends on TV brand / model).

2.2 RCA Audio Out (MUST labelled Audio OUT!)

Plug the Red White RCA to 3.5mm female audio cable to your TV | audio source RCA Audio OUT. Plug the 3.5mm audio cable to RCA cable and plug your headphones to the other end.

Can you hear sound?

If yes, then unplug the headphone from the cable. Your Audio output is ready.

If no, then use your TV remote control to check your TV audio settings. Settings | Menu | Option > Audio > Speaker > Headset (Various, depends on TV brand / model).

2.3 Optical / Coaxial Audio Out

If your TV does not have AUX or RCA audio out, it has Optical / Coaxial audio out only, then you will need a Digital to Analog Converter to convert Digital (Optical / Coaxial) signal to Analog (RCA / AUX) signal.

To validate the audio output, you can plug your headphone directly to DAC Aux or RCA output and make sure you can hear sound. 

If no sound, pls check your Digital Audio Format with TV remote control. Settings | Options | Menu > Audio > Expert Settings> Audio Format (this varies depends on TV brand and model)

2.4 Receiver with 6.35mm Phone Jack at Front

For most AV Receiver (e.g. Yamaha, Denon, etc.), you are suggested to use the big Phone jack at the front. You need to get a 6.35mm to 3.5mm audio adapter. It only cost a few dollars from Amazon.

Then repeat the above validation process with the headphone under wired connection. Make sure you can hear sound. 

 

Step 3: Hook Up the Transmitter

Now connect the transmitter to the audio output cable that your headphone can hear audio from. 

Power up the transmitter with the USB cable provided. Connect it to TV USB port or any other USB outlet (5V/500mA-2A).

Step 4: Turn on Both Devices - Connected - Enjoy

Turn on transmitter: Slide on/off switch to "ON" position.

Turn on headphone: Press and hold "MFB" button for 3 seconds until BLUE LED is on and you hear "Welcome to Avantree".

Wait for 1-3 seconds, both devices LED flashes 1-2 times every 5s indicates they are connected.
