Leaf - Why is there still lag / audio delay?

DG50 has incorporated the latest "aptx low latency" codec technology, for transferring superior stereo quality sound without any noticeable delay.

To take advantage of the better performance of aptX Low Latency codec -

1. Please make sure your Bluetooth headphones, speaker or receiver also support the aptX Low Latency codec. If the headphones, speaker or receiver only supports the normal aptX codec, or the SBC one, these codecs will be used instead.

Audio delay when paired with different headphones / speaker / receiver

Headphones / speaker / receiver support-  The audio delay will be
aptX HD codec  ≥ 250ms
aptX Low Latency codec ~ 40ms
aptX codec  ~ 130ms
Fast Stream codec   ~ 40ms
AAC codec  ~120ms
SBC codec (most standard Bluetooth audio)  ~ 220ms

Note: Audio delay for Fast stream codec is almost the same as aptX LOW Latency codec, but the audio quality of the aptX LOW Latency codec is much better.

2. If your Bluetooth device support aptX Low Latency, but still has definite lag. Please check if Leaf is using aptX Low Latency codec - the LED flashes WHITE twice every 5 seconds (more LED status, please refer to - https://support.avantree.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001781246)

If Leaf is not using aptX Low Latency codec, please try to reset Leaf and re-pair it with your Bluetooth device to test.
